Chi Alpha and our sponsoring organization, Assemblies of God U.S. Missions, REQUIRE Vic and Kathy Varis to gather a partner team sufficient to cover their entire approved budget (salary, medical, retirement, and work) before they can be released to work.

Please help the Varis’ continue their important work by completing a Faith Promise (pledge) Form today.  Please download one of the files below, print, fill in and mail to the address on the form.

If you give less than monthly (annually or quarterly), please write in the amount divided into months.  For example if you usually give one gift totally $600, enter this as $50 per month.

What is a Faith Promise?

First of all a faith Promise is different from a Pledge even though you probably are more familiar with the term “pledge” from events such as telethons or NPR/PBS donor drives.  A “pledge” is your commitment to contribute monthly from your personal resources no matter what.

A “Faith Promise” incorporates a spiritual commitment to trust God to provide an amount you believe he has placed in your heart. That is why the faith promise includes the phrase “…as the Lord enables”.

There are many stories of Faith Promises being made with unusual circumstances or opportunities rising seemingly out of nowhere– from work promotions, to financial windfalls.

Of course you are welcome to make a traditional pledge, but perhaps you want to ask God to do something above and beyond what you can see now!
